 | Google's Chrome web browser has come a long way. A couple years ago it was still an experimental piece of software that introduced some new concepts such as independent processes for tabs. Now it is one of the top three browsers and gaining, while the top two, Firefox and Microsoft's Internet Explorer are declining in popularity. With release 14, Google Chrome is introducing more innovations, in particular in audio capabilities that enable the development of web applications with similar capabilities and user experience as regular applications. | |
